1. Yosemite National Park’s Half Dome

Half Dome is a granite dome at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite national Park, California. It is the most familiar rock formation in Yosemite. The granite crest rises over 1,444 meter above the valley floor. Hiking is not allowed here without permit. Approximately daily 50 permits are issued during the hiking season.

2. Black Cat Track

Black Cat Track is between Salamaua and Wau in the Morobe Province. It is a forgotten World War II trail that passes through very difficult and hazardous terrain. Place includes dangerous river crossings, swamps, cliffs, trees that are fallen, moss covered rocks and dangerous ledges. This place is not for the faint hearted, nor for the inexperienced bush walker.
